About...
I was born in London in 1968, close to the wartime fighter station at Biggin Hill, something that sparked a lifelong fascination with aviation. Sponsored by the Royal Air Force through 6th Form, I learnt to fly aged 17. Major surgery then prevented me joining the RAF as planned on leaving school, but I was fortunate to be selected by British Airways to train as an airline pilot at the British Aerospace Flying College. I have been flying commercially ever since.
Having met and followed Flashman for a number of years, I realised that following the death of George MacDonald Fraser, the only way Flashman would have another adventure was to write it myself....
